LAS VEGAS, [NV]—After 13½ years, federal authorities say they finally may have brought to justice all of those involved in the slayings of two anti-racist skinheads. A federal grand jury has indicted three more people in the 1998 hate-crime killings of Lin Newborn, 25, and Daniel Shersty, 21. Among those charged is Melissa Hack, 37, the former girlfriend of John "Polar Bear" Butler, 40, a neo-Nazi who was convicted in District Court in the double-murder case. Also charged was Hack's brother, Ross Hack, 40, and Leland Jones, 31. All three defendants, who were associated with "racist neo-Nazi" groups at the time of the slayings, face federal first-degree murder and firearms charges,

SOUTH HAMPTON, [PA]—A Bucks County man pleaded guilty Friday to trying to get an FBI agent posing as a “white supremacist” to kidnap a New Jersey woman and her daughter to force the mother into slavery. Jayan Patel, 41, of Southampton, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to one count of soliciting an individual to aid in a kidnapping. Patel told the “supremacist” if he and his associates helped in the abduction, they would be paid money taken from the victim, whom they would share as a slave following the kidnapping. View More>>

BOISE, [ID]—Their picket signs made reference to something called "The South Africa Project." The internationally known SouthAfricaProject.org promotes gender equality, rape prevention and female empowerment. However, the Boise protesters were part of something called SouthAfricaProject.info, a white-supremacist march to "arouse the attention of mainstream media to the genocide of White South Africans." WARREN, [OH]—The inside of a southeast side home was riddled with "Aryan Nation" spray-painted signs and slurs after being burglarized Saturday, police said.  The homeowner saw a pile of items inside his house. When he looked around his house, he noticed racial slurs and what he called ''Aryan Nation'' signs covering his walls, floors and ceilings. Officers discovered someone broke into the home by prying a locked back door open, reports state. The door was partially concealed by a privacy fence, officers noted. View More>>

ST. GEORGE, [UT]—A St. George resident convicted of federal tax law violations was sentenced last week to 30 months in federal prison despite ongoing objections by the defendant that his "sovereign" rights were violated. Kenneth James Neilson, 63, pleaded guilty in April 2011 to one count of interference with the administration of tax laws, admitting he had "corruptly tried to obstruct or impede federal revenue laws from about March 1996 to June 2005." Neilson claims to be a sovereign citizen of the state of Utah and not subject to the laws of the United States. PORTLAND, [OR]—Anti-capitalists are claiming responsibility for vandalism last night at the U.S. Bank branch on Cesar Chavez Boulevard near Hawthorne. Portland police say officers found a number of smashed windows and doors. Police say ATMs were also damaged. Large rocks were found both inside and outside the building. A nearby Key Bank and Starbucks were also vandalized. A group sent emails to local media outlets after each crime claiming it's in support of planned Occupy marches later on today. View More>>

DULUTH, [MN]—Organizers are putting together a rally Saturday that they hope will take the focus off a planned gathering of a white supremacist group at the Duluth Civic Center.  The Supreme White Alliance announced it was coming to Duluth to protest the current "Unfair" anti-racism campaign.  About fifty community organizations and civic leaders have already signed on to participate in the "Rally By The Bridge" on Saturday morning in Canal Park. NEWNAN, [GA]—A flyer claiming to be from the Ku Klux Klan is showing up in local driveways. Residents of at least three neighborhoods in Newnan said they woke up to find the flyers Sunday morning. The flyer has an image of a man wearing a white cloak and hood and read "Neighborhood Watch." Below those two words, the flyer said, "You can sleep tonight knowing the Klan is awake!" The Newnan Police Department is not sure who distributed the flyers, but said they violate a city ordinance. TOPEKA, [KS]—The fried catfish have already attracted good business for John Love's three-week-old venture located near Highland Park High School. But among the customers who have visited Love's Fish Market on 2214 SE California Avenue was someone who had a message that was anything but cordial. Two cards were left on the market's counter last Thursday, purporting to be from members of the Ku Klux Klan. One card read "You have been paid a friendly visit by the Ku Klux Klan - Should we pay you a real visit?" and the image of a rider dressed in Klan costume with a burning torch.
