HOUSTON, [TX]—Five members of the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas have been quietly given lighter sentences after they'd already been sent to prison for their roles in a double murder in the East Texas countryside. There is again no doubt the prison-born gang is reeling, and there has to be more confusion then ever within the ranks and the leadership over who can be trusted. They might need to worry more about what federal prosecutors and agents have already learned about the gang rather than who might be next to take a deal. At least 73 of the gang's members and associates have been indicted in recent years in Houston and Beaumont, and the probe is still underway. It seems at times like the f

The graffiti was discovered Tuesday morning the Sikh Gurdwara, located at 7940 Mission Boulevard in Riverside, officials said. Sikh officials want the Riverside police and sheriff's departments, as well as the FBI and the U.S. Justice Department to investigate the incident as a hate crime. The vandalism comes nearly one year after a gunman killed six people at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin. Sikhs are sometimes mistaken for Muslims because they wear turbans, but 99 percent of those wearing turbans in the U.S. are Sikh. View Mor

MILFORD, [CT]—Earlier this month, a group affiliated with the Ku Klux Klan dispersed leaflets to a number of houses in Milford and Orange, promising to form a neighborhood watch group. The intent, the literature said, was to assist already taxed law enforcement agencies. There were no overt racist messages in the literature dispersed by the United Klans of America. Despite that, the Milford Police Chief, the Mayor, and Connecticut's Governor held a press conference denouncing the group's leafleting and vowed to pursue criminal charges for littering if warranted. Long-established hate groups appear intent on changing their image not only in Connecticut but the country. The era of ralli
