LOUISVILLE, [KY]--Less than a week after he was released from jail for twice breaking the windows of the EMW Women’s Surgery Center — and returning to the clinic in the following days to allegedly brag about his release — Timothy Lee Haste was arrested again on Friday two blocks from the clinic on unrelated charges and currently remains incarcerated. Haste pleaded guilty to one amended-down count of second-degree criminal mischief on Monday, Nov. 23, for causing $1,600 worth of damage to the windows of EMW, the only full-time abortion clinic in Kentucky. He was given a one-year sentence but discharged on the condition that he not have further contact with the prosecuting victim.

IRVING, [TX]--Protests have become the norm lately in front of a mosque in Irving. A post from the Texas Rebel Knights, a white supremacist Christian group, calls for a rally at the mosque on December 12. The post promoting the original rally appears to have been removed. Irving police said they are aware of the planned rallies and are monitoring the situation.  A counter-rally being organized on Facebook. Nearly 400 people representing many faith groups have already agreed to attend. It will be held on that same day and at the same location. BALLARD, [WA]--Last week there were reports from concerned citizens that a white power rally was planned to take place in Ballard on Dec. 6. On the white supremacy forum Stormfront.org, there was a post that stated there would be a large party in Ballard that would attract 300 Northwest Hammerskins members. Northwest Hamerskins are a local chapter of a white supremacy hate group that represents Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana and North Dakota. The post stated that the rally would start in Ballard and move to Capital Hill for after a traditional cross burning and performances by white power bands. SAVANNAH, [GA]--Local and federal law enforcement officers are investigating what they say may be arson at a black Savannah church, and police say two other incidents this week could also be related to the fire. Firefighters were called to First New Afrikan Methodist Christian Church on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard just after midnight Friday, said a Savannah Fire and Emergency Services spokesman. Savannah Fire officials launched an arson investigation after they determined that the fire likely started outside the building. Investigators saw indications the fire was intentionally set, the spokesman said. The fire department has asked for help from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearm

HAZELWOOD, [PA]--Pittsburgh police are investigating the Thanksgiving Day shooting of a Muslim cab driver in Hazelwood that the victim and leaders of the Islamic Center of Pittsburgh are describing as a hate crime. The driver, a 38-year-old Moroccan immigrant who has requested anonymity out of fear for his safety and who has not been identified by police, said he picked a man up outside Rivers Casino at about 1 a.m. Thursday. QUEENS, [NY]--Police are looking for a man accused of setting dozens of Hindu flags on fire outside a home in Queens. Police say surveillance video shows the man setting fire to 40 religious Hindu flags in front of a home in Woodhaven. It happened just after 1 a.m. Thursday at 89th Avenue and 80th Street. No one was injured. The incident is being investigated as a hate crime. The suspect was wearing a three-quarter-length jacket and baseball cap and was pulling a medium-size travel bag, cops said. neighbors are worried the suspect will return and cause more harm. MIAMI, [FL]--A federal discrimination lawsuit filed by a Muslim activist group against a Florida gun retailer owner who declared his shop a “Muslim-Free Zone” has been dismissed. COLORADO SPRINGS, [CO]--Two civilians and one police officer were killed at the Planned Parenthood building in Colorado Springs, Colo., Friday.
