CARY, [NC]--A Cary church was vandalized with spray-painted racial slurs, “KKK” and other messages over the weekend. At about 4 a.m. Sunday, Saint Francis United Methodist Church on Kildaire Farm Road in Cary discovered spray-painted graffiti on one of its buildings used primarily for Sunday school and Bible study. Church members, staff and volunteers were able to clean the graffiti before morning service was finished Sunday. Messages including “Kill all n-----,” “N----- church,” “KKK” and “F--- Jesus” – along with offensive images – were painted over the outer walls, windows and doors of the building, according to photos posted on Facebook on Sunday by Tyler Bentley

INDIANAPOLIS, [IN]--Former Subway pitchman Jared Fogle has tried to argue that he’s a “sovereign citizen,” claiming a federal court that convicted him on child pornography and sexual conduct involving minors did not have the authority to do it. Fogle filed a motion on his own earlier this month in U.S. District Court in the Southern District of Indiana, saying he wanted to correct an “error” regarding subject matter jurisdiction in the case. His defense? FOND DU LAC, [WI]--Washington County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 36-year-old Menasha man on 8 outstanding arrest warrants over the weekend after a tailgating incident on I-41. A man who identified himself as “Mustafa” was trailing other vehicles staying 3 to 5 feet behind them. When he was stopped he told deputies he was a “sovereign citizen and traveler” and not subject to government statutes. Under his real name he was wanted on multiple warrants for resisting an officer, drunken driving, fleeing an officer and other offenses. View More>>
