CHICAGO, [IL]--Federal prosecutors have reached a last-minute plea bargain with a black man after his attorneys discovered alleged white supremacist social media posts involving a potential key witness, who is a veteran Chicago police officer. WILKES-BARRE, [PA]--Accused killer Roberto Battle refused to take part in his own arraignment Monday in Luzerne County Court. Battle, one of two men facing charges in connection with a local DJ’s shooting death four years ago, wouldn’t raise his hand when instructed. Battle, who is facing charges of criminal homicide and conspiracy to commit criminal homicide, wouldn’t swear an oath to tell the truth. Instead, the Brooklyn, N.Y. man, who stands accused of firing multiple rounds into a crowd outside a South Main Street bar, merely stared at the court clerk. One of the bullets allegedly fired by Battle on Oct. 13, 2013 struck and killed Michael Onley, 34, popularly known as DJ Mo. The W

UNITED STATES, [US]--Rising right-wing extremism in the United States appears to have breathed new life into militant Christian groups including the ‘Army of God’ (AOG) – a violent network which first rose to prominence in the early 1980s. Openly promoting the killing of abortion providers, it supports individuals jailed for the murders of healthcare workers, and it has been linked to a number of domestic terror attacks on targets across America. The organisation’s de facto religious leader, Reverend Donald Spitz, spoke to 50.50 in a rare interview from his home in Virginia late last year. “People are standing up more for the rights of the family,” he told us, claiming that with
